It was all aboard the Prince Regent canal boat for an afternoon sailing from Paddington Basin, through Regent's Park and the zoo and along to Camden lock.
Over 50 older and disabled residents enjoyed tea and sandwiches, bingo and dancing.
The trip was funded by the central AMC and arranged by Jamal Mahmoud and Eddie Hedges, estate managers. It was an opportunity for our older residents to get out, enjoy the nearby canal, and meet friends and neighbours from other areas.
Grace Smith (photographed far right) from St John's Wood said "I have enjoyed my trip today simply because I discovered the local history on the other side of the Edgware Road which I found so interesting and educational and I enjoyed catching up with my friends. Thank you Jamal."
