Summer and the Olympics have finally arrived! And so has the CityWest Homes Celebrates the Games Photo Competition.
Open to all CityWest Homes residents and staff, now is a perfect time for the photographer in you to take advantage of the wonderful photo opportunities the Games will bring. We're looking for photographs that best capture the spirit of the Olympics: a celebration of culture, unity and excellence.
We have fantastic prizes to be won in three categories. The first prize winners in each category will also have their photo published in CityWest News, our award-winning quarterly newspaper that is read by more than 25,000 people in Westminster.
Like Team GB - go for gold and be in it, to win it.
There are three categories: People, Places and Nations. Judges will be looking for the best photographs that will show the Olympic spirit captured in any of these elements: from bunting and flags, to crowds cheering on their teams, events across the nation. The photographs must be Olympic or Paralympic related.
The competition ends at 5pm, 10 September 2012.
Judging will be carried out by a panel of three.
For each category, there will be three prizes:
Gold medal place: £50 shopping voucher and certificate
Silver medal place: £25 shopping voucher and certificate
Bronze medal place: £15 shopping voucher and certificate
Plus, the winning shot in each category will be published in CityWest News, September edition.
Entries must be submitted by the closing date via email to email@example.com. In your email, please state the category you are entering, your name, address and contact details. We cannot consider any entry that does not contain these details. All entries must be submitted in jpeg format, no less than 500kb or more than 3MB in file size. You may enter more than once in any category.
To enter, you must be a CityWest Homes tenant, leaseholder or sub-lessee, or member of staff.
