Travel advice for 3 - 4 August, Prudential RideLondon

The Prudential RideLondon event takes place on 3 – 4 August 2013. The annual event is a two day cycling festival, developed by the Mayor of London and his agencies in partnership with Surrey County Council. It aims to encourage people living in the capital to get on their bikes. The first day is a free family ride in central London, with a professional race taking place on the following day.

To accommodate the event, there will be some road closures in the city. These will include The Mall, Embankment, Hyde Park Corner, Trafalgar Square, the A4, Westminster Bridge and the Blackwall Tunnel. You can view full details of the route here.

To find out if your journey will be affected, please visit the TFL website. You can also find out more about the event on the Westminster website.
