We've been shortlisted twice for TPAS

CityWest Homes can celebrate a double success this month. Two of our projects have been shortlisted for the TPAS Awards, which celebrate the very best in the housing sector.

Our single equalities scheme has secured our first ever nomination in the ‘excellence in equality and diversity’ award category. To the best of our knowledge, our equality and diversity training, delivered to both our people and residents, is a first for a social housing provider.

We have also been shortlisted in the ‘excellence in youth involvement’ award for the CityWest Factor project. The project provided over £10,000 of funding for young people across our estates to bid for and use towards community projects.

Jenny Topham, acting TPAS chief executive, said: “TPAS is passionate about connecting people to achieve great communities. In this era of co-regulation it is vital that tenants and landlords work together to achieve and sustain positive change and impact on their communities. The judges have been inspired by the number of exceptional projects and initiatives across Southern England, which have been a catalyst for delivering real change.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 14 February 2014 at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London.
